Glynis Revell's Picture Gallery.
Glynis Savory (now Revell) was on the australis working as a stewardess from 1974 until 1975. Although I was on the ship at the same time I do not remember Glynis, but maybe I've had one too many Bacardis!! Glynis remembers many ex-crew members including Katie Horsman, Patricia O'Brien, Julie Mullins, the late  John L. Sullivan . Plus shop boy Billy Livings, ex-master-at-Arms  Jimmy Galloway, and an Australian Singer called Lance Twentyman from Melbourne. She recalls doing the ships tote with Lance every day (a prize was given to the passenger who could correctly guess the milage of the ship in the twenty four hour period from noon the day before to noon that day-or the nearest of course.) If you remember working with Glynis please contact her on the following e-mail address: Glynis Revell.

Welcome all visitors to the S.S. Australis Website, which has now been online since 1998!

I will continue to update the site if I receive a new story, or if you have interesting photos taken on the ship during your voyage on either the southbound, northbound, or on one of the South Pacific cruises. We used to do those trips several times a year from Melbourne, Sydney and Auckland (New Zealand).

I am deeply moved by the interest and wonderful contributions from the numerous passengers and crew over many years.
