The Peter Brown Picture Gallery.

Peter and Brenda Brown along with their two children Angela & Paul, travelled on the S. S. Australis from Southampton to Sydney, Australia as migrants. They departed from Southampton on February 8th. 1972 and arrived at Sydney on March 8th. 1972. Their route was via Las Palmas in the Canary Islands, and the ship also stopped for a day at Capetown, South Africa. Peter says they have many fond memories of the trip, even though it was some 30 years ago.

Further interesting information is in the booklet which Peter provided: Welcome aboard booklet.

Due to a huge volume of questions I am asked, for which often I do not have the information, I have decided to ask that only ex-crew actually write to me please.

I am delighted with everyones contributions, and will occasionally update the Australis web site, using photos/stories etc sent to me. However I cannot answer any more questions.

Thankyou for your sustained interest in the SS Australis Homepage.

Please e-mail me on this link: Contact.
